Same ole Boring

And now, a little bit about today.

New hogi yogi shirts. I think they’re really cute. They are bright orange in honor of the new orange chicken dish we are getting (eventually) Can’t wait to try it! I don’t want to wear my shirt to work, it’s too cute.

Today when I delivered lunches to South Cache, the lunch lady asked me if I was in a serious relationship. Turns out the guy that delivers their burritos thinks that I’m “really cute”. I told her I was married. “Oh, that’s serious.” She is going to tell him I’m available anyway. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen the guy. What do you think, should I run away with the burrito guy?

One of my coworkers forgot one of the coolers of sandwiches for the schools she delivered to, so Steve (the owner of Hogi Yogi) let us eat all 19 of them that were left behind. I took six of them home with me. I made them myself this morning!

We have our first real snow of the season. And I wore my flip flops to work tonight. Oh well. It’s really wet heavy stuff and I don’t think it will stick around for long. Jeff is really happy, I think he’s ready to break out the snow gear.

And so I will leave you with a little movie of my kitty, Keef. I wish I had a dog, but Keef is pretty cute in his brainless ways. :)

Look out! That chick’s getting her eyebrows waxed!

I know most everyone who reads this blog has seen these signs, but I think it’s hilarious.

Elric (von Lichtenstein)…

Just kidding. It’s just Elric. Besides, its Ulrich von Lichtenstein.

For fun, here’s our bird.

Lost!

Jeff and I had the entire weekend off this past… weekend. Every other weekend we have to work from 7 A.M. to 12 noon at Feature Films, and this was the “other” weekend.

We started out the day by sleeping in late. Then we did some errands (the kind of things you can’t do on a day when you work 13 hours), bought some new shelving for the walls upstairs, visited the new “Grand Opening” at the D.I. (it’s so great having so close! Now you can actually get through the aisles!) and then we headed to Green Canyon’s Corn Maze.

It cost us $6 to get in, and we walked it in 45 minutes. Jeff had a secret to finding the way through, so it didn’t take long. And yes, we stayed on the path. It was really fun, but it would have been even more fun in the dark. Plus it’s “haunted” on the weekends.

Then we splurged and went out for dinner at the Golden Corral. Jeff used to get a discount there when he worked at Qwest, and we’ve been addicted ever since.

I miss you weekend!

Easy Scrapbooking

Anyone who knows me knows that I hate to scrapbook. I hate cutting photos up, I hate making frilly little captions, it just all stinks. Not to mention you have to get special paper to print up the digital photos, ink, it’s a mess.

I ordered a “scrapbook” from my iPhoto application on my spiffy mac. I got to design the layout, add the captions, fix up the pictures and decide on page flow. Then I just click and the order is sent! The pictures really don’t do it justice. It was pretty cheap ($16.00 for 20 pages) and came in a jif.

Thank you mac!

Avoid!

I came across a silly little game today while searching for… you know, I can’t remember what. The idea is to protect your mouse cursor from the little orange guy for as long as you can. When you open it up, click the first line of Japanese text, that will get you going ;)

*Please note: There’s no screaming scary face in this one if you fail, thanks Mel! :P Click pic to begin!

The Baby Owner’s Manual

I found this great book at the DI the other day. We went in to get a white board for a project I’m working on, and left with stacks and stacks of books. Among them, The Baby Owner’s Manual. I was going to give it to Melanie, but I liked it too much and I want it for myself. I’m selfish :)

It’s written like a manual for a computer would be, just nerdy enough to make you smile. I kind of like it! Pretty useful stuff.
