Our blog has moved here.
Spider Pig
Has anyone else seen this? I think it’s hilarious!
(sorry, I can’t find this whole thing on youtube, so you’ll have to follow the link)
New Post!
A few updates:
Ben got a new job at Feature Films. Here is his second week and he is already bored with it. That happens a lot.
Oh, and Feature Films reminds me, they are having a Lagoon day for us and our families, friends, etc. We get passes that take the price down from $40 to $25 ish. Anyway, if anyone wants one, they’re for the 7th of July, Saturday. I think us three are going.
Um, that’s pretty much it. We are all just barely hanging on until we can leave and go to Moab.
HSBC
Everyone is so boring on the weekends! So I’ll post something.
Today was my first Saturday to work under HSBC, the new comp… oh and Jeff’s first too… company that we now work for. It is a much better job than we had before. We ran out of calls for the first hour and Jeff and I sat watching clips on one of our lead’s video ipods.
Good times had by all.
Only four days until we leave for Denver. And now I leave you with a cute kitty picture.

Boring!
I haven’t updated because our lives are BORING! Okay? Sheesh! Get off my back!
Lets see… some news…
We cleaned out our storage room yesterday. Is that interesting enough?
Jeff is spending hours upon hours of his time playing his new modded xbox. We joined GameFly and get the games, copy them, and send them back.
Jeff got “promoted” yesterday. Basically it’s really a lateral move but now he’s doing something for a different company within the same company. It still confuses me. But supposedly I’m moving over there on Monday too. Jeff says it’s much easier than what we were doing.
Sorry no pictures. I don’t bring it with us when we do get online. We’re down the street barely from Barb and Ryan’s house! Hi guys!
Oh here’s a pic. Us right now. I recently cut Jeff’s hair. I think it came out horrible but be nice to him anyway.

Smash!
Walmart had this swing chair that I wanted to get for our house – you know, now we actually have a yard, lets get a little yard furniture.
Well we finally got it yesterday. Barely fit in the back of our little Taurus. We got it home and started putting it together in the yard. Our yard has a dip to it, so it was still wet and full of water. It was really kind of miserable smushing around in the grass and slipping on the cardboard and stuff.
But finally we had it all together and it looked great! So we picked it up together -it’s pretty light – and started moving to the front of the house where we figured it would fit best. We had to edge past the car, and it didn’t quite fit. So we set it down next to the car and I got in to back it up so it would fit past.
I was looking behind me to make sure I didn’t hit the Saab and as I was turning to look the other way (to be sure I didn’t hit the brace for the house’s overhang) Jeff was waving his arms like mad and shaking his head. Then CRUNCH! I ran over the swing.
I got the car straight and backed it out. Jumped out and ran over, Jeff was laughing/crying on the ground. The back bar on the swing is bent all the way to the ground and Jeff was freaking out about spending the time and money to build something I ran over in a minute.
Luckily, since it’s a Walmart thing, we can just call the number for replacement parts and have them send us a new bar. They usually don’t care how it got broken. The same thing happened when we bought desks from Walmart, we broke the top of the desk and called for more. We ended up with two more sets arriving.
The Real Terror Threat
This last weekend showed us the true threat to our ways of life. With so much news about the war in Iraq and the school shootings, I wanted to take one second to remind you who our real enemies are. Picture below:

Those of you who know me well enough (read Dianna) automatically think “oh man, Jeff’s on another crazy rant!” But WAIT! A flag pole in Michigan was brought down by high speed winds and killed a kindergarten girl. We’re not talking college students or soldiers, but a little girl, five years old. So who really is the terrorist? I think it’s the flag poles!
Another threat to our way of life…. little orange fur balls. Anyone seen keef do his floppy-paws? Well, then you know that we think its funny. It’s very funny. And then you know that keef thinks it’s very unfunny. He’s just biding his time, all right. One night, POW! he’s a terrorist waiting to happen.

Easter Weekend
I hope everyone had a good weekend. Jeff and I got so excited about our Easter baskets to each other that we exchanged them on Tuesday.
We had to work on Saturday, and then we goofed off in Ogden for the rest of the night.
On Sunday morning Jeff had a seizure so we spent the day inside resting him up and treating his owwies.
Other than that, there is not much to report. Working as usual, hanging out at home until the wee hours of the morning just like always!
Small Corner
Jeff and I have been trying for two weeks to upload some video clips of our new house all put together. Youtube is having issues doing so, and pretty much everyone has come and seen it. So those of you who haven’t, then it’s your own fault.
We only have one tiny corner of our bedroom that picks up local wireless internet, and only when it feels like it, so we haven’t been online much.
Jeff and I did our taxes a few weeks back to find that we owed the state $700. I know a lot of you doubters and “operator error” types are thinking “No way, you probably just screwed up the math somewhere”. Well I’ll have you know I went over them three, maybe four times and each one showed up at $700.
Well before filing them forever we decided to once more go over the sheet. This time, we did every single question with the booklet, even the deduction ones we were positive we didn’t qualify for. Lo and behold! We came out on top at $24. It’s not much of a return but sure makes a big difference when you’re trying to save $700 in a month before taxes are due.
This means that I can finally get started on fixing my teeth and having my wisdoms out! This is where you guys come in. I’ve never had to deal with a dentist, much less someone who can remove wisdom teeth, on my own without mom and dad making all the arrangements. I’m wondering, should I go see a dentist and have them refer me to an oral surgeon for the wisdoms? Can the dentist do them him/herself? I’ve got insurance through MetLife now, but I’m worried about paying too.
Any advice from those who have been there would be greatly appreciated!
I don’t know…
We have been trying to update the page with some video clips of our house in pretty-near-finished condition, and tell all you people to come and visit us, but youtube is having issues uploading them, and so we haven’t made that page.
That’s the story.
